PM Modi lands in Uzbekistan, commences five nation tour of Central Asia,Russia

Tashkent, July 6 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent as he commenced his five nation tour of Central Asia and Russia on Monday.

"Tashkent: PM @narendramodi lands, marking the start of an important visit to Central Asia and Russia," PMO India tweeted.

Modi met PM Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev.

"The meetings begin instantly...PM @narendramodi meets PM Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev after landing at Tashkent," read another tweet posted by PMO India.
