PM Modi inaugurates IIT Patna

Patna, July 25 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Bihar on Saturday morning to to kickstart BJP campaign for the Assembly elections, also inaugurated the IIT Patna.

The Prime Minister  has a string of official programmes in Patna, where he is also accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Speaking on the occasion, Modi said the IIT Patna will be an incubation centre of talents.
 
He said infrastructure development will take Bihar forward. He said youth should be empowered to take development forward. 
 
In the afternoon, Modi will head to Muzaffarpur in north Bihar, where he will address a rally. 
 
The election in Bihar is due by October.
 
Modi is also expected to announce a special economic package for the state-a promise he made while campaigning for the Lok Sabha election last year.
