Odisha couple commit suicide in Delhi after son dies of dengue

New Delhi, Sept 12 (IBNS) In a shocking incident, the parents of a seven-year-old boy who died of Dengue earlier this week have committed suicide, media reports said.

The couple's  bodies were found near their home in Lado Sarai in south Delhi with their hands tied.

The child of the couple was reportedly denied admission to Moolchand Medicity and Max Saket, two of the biggest hospitals in south Delhi.
. The hospital authorities had claimed that all their beds for dengue patients were full.

The child was finally admitted to Batra Hospital in Tughlakabad Extension, where he was pronounced dead after a night in the hospital.

The family hailed from Kendrapara in Odisha. The police recovered a suicide note written in Odia which said, "It is nobody's fault. It is our decision."

According to the police, an inquiry has been initiated and an FIR will be registered once the post-mortem report is received.
