Nepal PM K.P. Sharma Oli to visit India

New Delhi, Feb 13 (IBNS) Nepal Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli will visit India on Feb 19, officials said

He will be visiting India at the invitation of Indian PM Narendra Modi.

"At the invitation of the Prime Minister of India, Prime Minister of Nepal Shri K.P. Sharma Oli will be visiting India from 19-24 February 2016," India's Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

It would be Prime Minister Oli’s first visit abroad after assuming office in October 2015.

Prime Minister Oli will meet our Prime Minister and call on Rashtrapatiji on Feb 20.

"During the visit, the two sides are expected to hold wide ranging discussions on issues of mutual concern, as well as on our bilateral cooperation in diverse areas including developmental assistance, energy and connectivity," read the MEA statement.

"The visit is expected to lead a further strengthening of our age-old, close and friendly relations with Nepal," it said.
