Bhopal, May 5 (IBNS) Acting against yoga guru Ramdev's controversial drug 'Putrajeevak', the Madhya Pradesh government has ordered a ban on the drug till its name is changed.

Allegations were raised  against Ramdev's drug that promises the birth of a male child.

Opposition parties demanded stringent action against the manufacturers for making such claims which they said are illegal and unconstitutional.

However, Ramdev denied the allegations claiming that he was being targeted through "lies" to defame the Prime Minister.

Ramdev said  a disclaimer will be added on the package of the medicine 'Putrajeevak Beej' that it does not promise a male child.
