Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik accuses Sameer Wankhede of forging death certificates of mother

Malik claimed that there are two death certificates with different religions of Zahida Dawood Wankhede, who passed away on April 16, 2015.

Sharing both the death certificates, Malik in a tweet said, "Another forgery, Muslim for funeral and Hindu for the official document? Blessed is Dawood Gyandev," he tweeted.

However, Malik has told the Bombay High Court he will not make statements against his family till December 9.

The NCP leader's assurance came after Dhyandev Wankhede approached the Bombay High Court to challenge an order issued on Monday by a single-judge bench of the same court, according to NDTV.

In today's hearing, senior advocate Birendra Saraf (appearing for Dhyandev Wankhede) said that even the single-judge bench had acknowledged the "malicious" intent behind Malik's tweets.

Nawab Malik opened an all-out attack against Sameer Wankhede after he arrested superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in an alleged drug case after raiding a cruise party off the coast of Mumbai.

Malik had claimed the NCB officer was the kingpin of the drugs racket running in Mumbai and was appointed by former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He also accused that Wankhede produce illegal documents to get caste-based benefits.

Earlier, Nawab Malik's son-in-law Sameer Khan was also arrested by NCB in a separate case and is currently out on bail.

Malik told NDTV that the NCB is "hiding" behind the case of his son-in-law, portraying his criticism of the agency as a case of vendetta.
