Kolkata, Mar 9 (IBNS): A minor fire broke out at Bidhan Sabha Bhaban (West Bengal Assembly house) in central Kolkata on Wednesday noon, reports said.
According to reports, the fire was first seen in front of the Assembly's deputy speaker Sonali Guha's room.

More than two fire tender engines rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control in few minutes.

According to fire service officials, the fire might have started due to a short circuit in air-conditioning machine.

However, no casualty has been reported in the incident so far.

The fire department has started investigation into the matter to know the exact reason of the fire.
