| | Mar 31, 2016, at 06:30 pm
Bengaluru, Mar 31 (IBNS) The pre-university (PU) chemistry question paper in Karnataka leaked for the second time in ten days even though a re-examination was scheduled to take place on Thursday morning after the March 21 incident.
Reports said the Department of Pre-University (DPUE) has again cancelled the exam.

Earlier, the chemistry exam was scheduled on March 21, but it was cancelled after the question paper was leaked few hours before the commencement of exams on the same day.

DPUE has registered a police complaint and also CID is investigating to find out the source of the leakage of question paper.

Angry students and their parents staged protests at various places in the state demanding the resignation of state's education minister.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah says CID will investigate into the PU paper leak. Siddaramaiah defended education minister Kimmane Ratnakar, says no question of seeking his resignation.
