Huge bomb making materials recovered in Kolkata, 5 arrested

Kolkata, Mar 20 (IBNS): Few weeks prior to the Bengal polls, police on Sunday booked at least five men with huge bomb making materials from a house at Picnic Garden under Tiljala Police Station area in Kolkata, reports said.

According to reports, few miscreants were making bombs on the rooftop of a residential building.

After being informed by locals, police from Tilajala Police Station and Central Police Force personnel rushed to the spot and arrested five men. Huge bomb making materials were recovered from the roof as well.

Locals alleged that three of the five arrested were outsiders and rest two were BJP activists.

Local BJP leaders, however, denied their involvement in the matter.

However, police have started investigation into the case and arrested are being interrogated.
