Gujarat: Two drown in rain-filled open soak pit
Chhota Udepur, Jun 28 (UNI) Two children died after drowning in Kadwal village under Pavi Jetpur taluka of Chhota Udepur district in Central Gujarat on Friday.
Police said that bodies of Haresh and Paresh, aged 1.5 to 2.5 years were fished out of a rain-filled open soak pit (Khalkuwa) in the village.
The incident occurred when they were playing nearby.
Police were investigating whether they have died of drowning accidentally or something else caused the death.
