Fresh tremor of low magnitude shakes Nepal

Kathmandu, May 5 (IBNS) A fresh tremor of 4.0 magnitude on Tuesday shook the earthquake-ravaged Nepal, where the death toll from the April 25 disaster climbed to more than 7,500.

The tremor, which was one of the several fresh quakes that hit Nepal after the April 25 disaster took place at 6:39 am.

National Seismological Centre  said it had its epicentre on the border of Dhading and Nuwakot districts,"

The country experienced 143 aftershocks since the 7.9 magnitude quake that flattened about 200,000 structures rendering millions homeless.

Officials said the toll from the April 25 tremor mounted to 7,577 while about 15,000 people were injured.
