Former Delhi Minister Somnath Bharti's wife alleges domestic violence

New Delhi, June 10 (IBNS): Adding more troubles for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), MLA Somnath Bharti's wife has approached the Delhi Commission for Women and accusing of assault and domestic violence, media reports said.

"According to preliminary reports, his wife has approached the Delhi Commission for Women, alleging assault and domestic violence on the minister," ABP News reported.

The DCW has summoned the former Delhi Minister, reports said.

Meanwhile, AAP's Kapil Mishra is likely to be Delhi's new law minister after Jitender Singh Tomar resigned from the post late on Tuesday over charges of possessing a fake law degree, media reports said on Wednesday.

Tomar has been taken to Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh to take part in the investigation over his alleged faked degrees.

Tomar was taken by train to Faizabad, which is about 700 km away from Delhi.
