'You won't make it back to your f***ing country': Trump's fresh threat to Iran clouds peace talks
Washington DC/IBNS: In a development that could potentially complicate ongoing United States-Iran peace efforts, US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Tehran, threatening renewed military action if Iran attempts to shut the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, according to media reports.
Trump Warns Iran Over Strait of Hormuz
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Trump warned Iran against interfering with shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important energy transit routes.
"You close (the Strait of Hormuz) and you won't have a country," Trump said. "You won't even make it back to your f***ing country."

Officials from the United States and Iran are currently engaged in talks in Switzerland as part of efforts to preserve a recently announced peace framework and ensure the uninterrupted flow of maritime trade through the Strait of Hormuz.
The talks are focused on de-escalating regional tensions and preventing any disruption to global energy supplies.
Fresh Warning Over Hezbollah
Trump also renewed pressure on Iran regarding its influence over Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The US President urged Tehran to stop the Iran-backed militant group from "causing trouble" in the region, warning that failure to do so could invite further military action.
"If they don't, we'll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder," Trump said.
