US: Alex Azar sworn in as new health secretary
Washington, Jan 30 (IBNS): Alex Azar has been sworn-in as the new secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The oath taking ceremony was held on Monday.
Alex Azar will fill vacancy created after the resignation of former secretary Tom Price.
Alex tweeted :" Humbled and honored to be back at @HHSGov as the 24th Secretary."
He said: " We’ll strive to continue @POTUS and his administration’s success and further our mission of improving the health & well-being of all Americans. "
