Two people died in murder-suicide in South Carolina

Washington, Feb 6 (IBNS): Two people died in an incident of “isolated” murder-suicide on Thursday at the University of South Carolina, media reports said.

According to the Columbia Police Department, the incident took place at the university’s school of public health.

“Appears to be a murder-suicide... Isolated incident at USC school of health,” it said in a tweet.

Carolina Alert tweeted that shots fired at New School of Public Health. “Building is locked down. Seek safe shelter. Remain indoors. Obey officials,” it mentioned.
