Moscow/IBNSI: Two people were killed and four others injured as a result of an air attack by the Ukrainian armed forces in Russia's Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Monday.

"According to preliminary information, two people were killed and four were injured... in the Belgorod Region after air defence forces repelled an air attack from the Ukrainian armed forces," Gladkov wrote on Telegram.

Ukraine launched waves of attack drones on energy facilities in several regions from Krasnodar in the south to Moscow and Yaroslavi 170 miles northeast of the Russian capital.

The Russian Defense Ministry said 17 drones were deployed in Krasnodar on the Russian side of the Kerch Strait, opposite occupied Crimea, with most of them downed and one sparking a major blaze at the Slovyansk oil refinery as it fell.
