Paris, Nov 18 (IBNS) A suspected woman terrorist blew herself up and another person was killed in Saint Denis, the northern suburb of Paris on Wednesday as police continued anti-terrorist operation against a group believed to be holed up in an apartment, reports said.

Heavy gunfire and at least seven explosions rang out during the battle that took place five days after the deadly string of terror attacks that killed 129 people in Paris.

Two police officers were also injured while two persons were reportedly arrested.

The area was closed down and intermittent gunfire could still be heard an hour after it started at 4 30 am (local time).

France 24, quoting regional French media, reports that two or three suspects who were ‘very close’ in planning Friday’s attacks are involved.

Police raid targets suspected Paris attacks mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud, reports said.

French police officials have asked local residents not to leave their homes.

The  operation is being carried out  by  SWAT Team, Army and the Police since 4 30 am (local time).

The area is home to the Stade de France, one of several places hit by gunmen and suicide bombers on Friday in the worst ever attack on French soil, which was claimed by the Islamic State jihadist group.
