A Pakistani girl was allegedly killed by her family members for leaving her home with a man of her choice in a village located in Bhowana region of the South Asian country.

Nazia Bibi, daughter of Ali Hussain, belonging to Syed caste, had left home with a local man, identified as Fazal, son of Gulzar Mochi, some days ago, reported Dawn News.

Her relatives and family members searched and then convinced her to return home after finding her.

After she returned home, her brothers strangled her and even secretly buried her body in a local graveyard without funeral prayers.

The incident came to light after an informer told the police about it.

ASI Shafqat Abbas registered a first information report against nominated suspects and launched investigations, reported Dawn News.

The suspects went to hiding after the FIR was filed against them.
