Joe Biden to meet with Chilean President on Nov 2

Washington/UNI: US President Joe Biden will receive Chilean President Gabriel Boric at the White House on November 2 to discuss issues of common interest, including economic cooperation and climate change, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

"On Thursday, November 2, President Joe Biden will host President Gabriel Boric of Chile for a bilateral meeting at the White House... President Biden will reaffirm the United States' commitment to its partnership with Chile.

"The two leaders will also discuss issues of shared concern, including promoting further economic cooperation, combating climate change, and addressing irregular migration," Jean-Pierre said in a statement released by the White House on Tuesday."

"The meeting comes as the two countries celebrate 200 years of diplomatic relations in 2023," the statement read.
