Iran repels largest cyberattack in history ahead of national polls

Iranian specialists repelled the largest DDoS attack on servers in the country's history on the eve of elections to the parliament and the Assembly of Experts, Iranian media reported.

The DDoS attack occurred on February 28 and its speed was 136 million requests per second, the Fars news agency reported on Saturday, adding that it was completely repelled.

The report also noted that about 160 DDoS attacks were repelled a few days before the elections, that were held on March 1.
