Toronto, July 25 (IBNS): Police said following the defacement of posters promoting gender diversity a positive change was noticed with no crime reported since the move, media reports said on Monday.

According to the Toronto police, no crime was committed after the posters were defaced.

The posters were created by the city of Toronto and the Black Coalition of AIDS Prevention (Black CAP) under an initiative-Toronto For All.

The campaign focuses on trans youth of colour who were seen to hold the posters one above the head and the other one below the hip.

The poster at the head carries the phrase "My Gender Lives Here" while the lower one has "Not Here" written on it.

Some trans youth in Martin Grove Road and John Garland Boulevard area were seen to have a note above the posters. The note selectively says, "people are either born men or women, and encourage those who are confused to pray to God."
