Election day for this year will be held on October 24.

Positions that are available include managing deputy returning officers, ballot officers, tabulator officers and customer service officers.

Applicants who are at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada are encouraged to apply for a position through the Toronto Elections Jobs webpage.

People without access to a computer, or to the Internet and who require assistance applying for an election position can call the recruitment line at 416-338-1111 and press 2, or TTY 416-338-0TTY (0889).

In addition to learning about how to run a fair and accessible election, successful applicants who work at the election can sharpen their skills in customer service, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork.
