BREAKING NEWS: Many dead in shooting outside newsroom in Maryland in USA

Washington, June 26 (IBNS) Multiple deaths were reported from a shooting incident at the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis in Maryland on Thursday, according to media reports.

 

 

According to Fox News quoting a sheriff, a suspect was apprehended following reports of gunshots fired, causing several deaths in Annapolis, Maryland on Thursday afternoon. The shooting occurred outside the Capital Gazette newsroom, it said.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan told CNN he was "absolutely devastated to learn of this tragedy in Annapolis."

Anne Arundel police said confirming the shooting said they are responding to an active shooter at an Annapolis building which has been evacuated. 

The Capital Gazette is owned by The Baltimore Sun.
