Air Canada flight makes emergency landing in Washington

Toronto/Washington, Mar 26 (IBNS): The Air Canada flight from Toronto made an emergency landing in Washington, the US capital, on Sunday evening.

The flight made the landing after pilots saw fire in the cockpit.

After seeing fire in the cockpit, the pilots diverted the route to Washington's Dulles International Airport.

No passenger was harmed due to the fire.

Andrew Trull, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesperson, told CTV News that the passengers were evacuated through emergency doors and taken to the main terminal.
