Canada: Fredericton gunman was hurt in abdomen, says court document

Fredericton, Aug 13 (IBNS): A court document has revealed that the gunman in Fredericton shooting was wounded in his abdomen, media reports said.

One of the police officers, according to the document, confirmed that he had hit the gunman in torso.

Police later entered the apartment, where the shooting took place, and found that the gunman was hurt in the abdomen.

The Fredericton shooting, which took place on last Friday, claimed four lives.

Vincent Raymond (48), the suspect, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder.

Raymond will stay in custody till Aug 27, the day when he shall be produced before the court.

Among the deceased, two were officers. The officers were Const. Robb Costello (45) and Const. Sara Mae Burns (43).

The third person killed was Donnie Robichaud (42), a father of three.

Police also released the name of the fourth victim.

She has been identified as Bobbie Lee Wright. The fourth victim was 32 years of age.
