Edmonton, Nov 10 (IBNS): The naked kidnappers who have crashed a car with a lorry in Alberta days ago have been suspected to drink trippy tea leading to the incident, media reports said.

Following the crash, police had arrested five naked men who were present in the car.

A relative suspected the naked men, who initially had a planning of kidnapping, to drink some hallucinogenic tea along with the breakfast.

The incident was taken up by the court on Thursday.

Three adults were charged with kidnapping and restricting oneself from being arrested.

The relative said the accused are not bad people but they might have just drank trippy tea.

The relative told media: "It’s absolutely crazy"

"It’s a scary thought thinking, ‘Oh, let’s try this tea that we purchased.’ And then all sit down thinking they’re just going to have a nice morning and end up in that circumstance" he added.

Just before the car crash, it was reported, a man, a woman and a baby were forced to get into the car by the naked kidnappers.

However, when the car was being driven, all three who were forced into the BMW car managed to escape.

The police when arrived the spot arrested all five naked people. While three adult naked kidnappers were charged, two teens were left out.

The relative even said he had laughed after hearing the news. "I was just like what the heck?" he said about his initial thought.
