Kabul:  Taliban terrorists have destroyed over 500 million dollars worth of the state's properties in Afghanistan in recent times, media reports said.

Afghanistan broadcaster RTA World shared video of Taliban atrocities and wrote on Twitter: "#WATCH: Taliban's destruction of public and private properties across #Afghanistan. Taliban have destroyed over 500 million dollars worth of the state's properties, most of which provided public services to Afghans."

Afghanistan is witnessing a spike in violent cases in recent times ever since foreign forces started moving out of the country.

The Taliban has captured several regions in the country.

Afghanistan's Ministry of Defence Fawad Aman spokesperson said rockets fired by terrorists on civilian houses in Polkhumri, Baghlan provincial center on Tuesday left five civilians, including women, injured.

"#Terrorist TB fired rockets on civilians houses in Polkhumri, Baghlan provincial center today. 5 innocent civilians including 2 women were wounded as a result of the attacks. The TB are responsible for civilian casualties & always attack #civilians directly and intentionally," he tweeted.
