Islamabad/UNI: Reacting to the Pakistan government's allegation that Pakistan Democratic Movement was formed only to 'seek a National Reconciliation Ordinance' like concession from the government, Pakistan People's Party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Sunday said that PDM had never asked for 'relief' from the federal government.

Talking to reporters in Thatta, Bilawal said, 'Instead, the PDM are seeking 'democracy,' where there is a level playing field for all the political players.'

'PDM is a democratic movement, formed for the creation of a 'real, organic and national representative government,' emphasising that PPP has always believed in the 'power of the people'.

He added that the government only brought up the NRO, when it could not find an answer to the PDM's criticism of it, the Dawn reported.

The PPP leader also rubbished Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid's comments there was a wide rift within the PDM.

'I understand that PDM's win is PPP's win and PPP's win is PDM's win, so we are one. When PDM wins, the people of Pakistan will win. Our Central Executive Committee (CEC) has endorsed every decision taken by the PDM,' he added.
