Bangladesh registers 1,567 fresh nCoV cases, with 32 deaths

Dhaka/UNI: Bangladesh has reported 1,567 fresh novel coronavirus cases and 32 deaths on Saturday, making the tally at 347,372 and death toll at 4,913, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

The official data showed that 13,170 samples were tested in the last 24 hours across Bangladesh.

The total number of recovered patients in the country stood at 254,386, including 2,051 new recoveries on Saturday, said the DGHS.

According to the official data, the coronavirus fatality rate in Bangladesh is now 1.41 percent and the current recovery rate is 73.23 percent.

Bangladesh has recorded the highest daily new cases of 4,019 on July 2 and the highest number of deaths of 64 on June 30.
