Islamabad: Pakistan security officials have killed a  terrorist commander and his three accomplices during an operation near the boundary of North and South Waziristan tribal districts on Sunday, media reports said.

Official sources told Dawn that when security forces raided a hideout of terrorists in the area they came under attack, triggering an exchange of fire between troops and the terrorists.

The sources said the terrorists hiding in the compound also hurled hand grenades at the raiding team, but the security forces remained safe, while the four terrorists were killed in the firing.
