Kabul/IBNS: A helicopter crash in Afghanistan's Kabul city on Wednesday left two US soldiers dead, media reports said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, however, preliminary reports do not indicate it was caused by enemy fire, Tolo News reported quoting an official statement.

The identities of those who died in the mishap are still not known.

The Taliban in a statement also on Wednesday claimed that they shot down a US chinook helicopter in Chark district of Logar province, adding that a number of soldiers have been killed, reported Tolo News.
