Light tremor felt in Dhaka, other parts of Bangladesh
Dhaka, July 19 (IBNS): Parts of Bangladesh on Friday shook after a 4.9 mgnitude earthquake hit Idnia's Arunachal Pradesh, triggering panic, media reports said.
Tremors were also felt in Bangladesh capital Dhaka.
The quake occurred at 3.22pm BdST and was recorded at a magnitude of 5.5 by the US Geological Survey or USGS, reported bdnews24 news portal.
No casualty of damage to property has been reported so far.
The tremor was felt in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Manipur.
