Amid rains, Bangladesh celebrates Eid today

Dhaka, Jun 5 (IBNS): Amid rains, Bangladesh is celebrating Eid on Wednesday.

Eid is the biggest religious festival of Bangladesh and it celebrated amid mood of festivity and joy across the nation.

Eid is being celebrated after the holy month of Ramadan came to an end.

Millions of people have left Dhaka and Chittagong cities of the country to celebrate the festival with their family members in others towns and villages.

Rains hit the mood of festivity on Wednesday morning.

However, many people walked through rains to reach the Eid congregations.

The Eid prayers at the National Eidgah took place on time and it was not interrupted due to bad weather.

“Dhaka is likely to have rain from early morning to 10.00 am on Wednesday,” Senior Meteorologist Abdul Mannan told bdnews24.
