Sikkim is the direct entrance to paradise. Everything seems a part of something that can only be found in paradise. This makes the state to receive a great number of tourists throughout the year. The subtle village life, the view of the picturesque mountains, the green backdrop, everything together makes Sikkim a place of sheer natural beauty and peace. Though Sikkim is the smallest state in the country, it can beat any other state in terms of natural splendour. When you will visit the state that is exquisiteness-stricken in every step, you will realize that your imagination has come to life.

Sikkim has many beautiful cities, towns, villages, valleys, lakes, monasteries, and more, but a few places are very famous. Gangtok, the capital city has to be on the top of the list and Gangtok tourism is seeing a lot of popularity in recent days. But there stays a part of Sikkim that is less known. This doesn’t mean that they are less than any other city, but they are the hidden treasure not many knows.   • Geyzing

Set on the height of 6,500 feet, Geyzing is a beauty at its best. The town is well connected with all the major cities in Sikkim and this makes it witness the best amalgamation of different cultures and traditions. It also has been said to be the hot spot of culture, adventure, and enthusiasm. The place has a vibe of adventure and is best for trekking, mountaineering, and expeditions. Being the cultural hub, one can also take a glance at the beauty of old architecture that the entire town has. Everything in Geyzing, right from the architecture, view of Himalayan, landscapes, and valleys are on point.

  •  Sumbuk

Sambuk is a treat for birdwatchers, photographers, nature lovers, and worshippers. The place is located in the South of Sikkim and is one of most isolated places. One can find the rarest species of flora fauna taking shelter here and the place is also an ideal spot for trekking and going on an adventure. There is also a tribe that lives in this land and if you localize with them, they will welcome you with an open heart and will take to view nature in the most amazing way.

  • Aritar

Aritar is a small place that is located in the part of Great Himalayas. The Place presents a perfect backdrop to a fairy-tale like of Moana. Living in silence, the place takes you away from the hustle bustle of the daily urban life and gives you a chance to relish the natural wonders. There are also many historical monuments, temples, and other establishments in the town that you can explore.

  • Yumthang Valley

There is no word made that can define the beauty of Yumthang Valley. Standing at the height of 3,560 meters, the place looks stunning located in the middle of the mountains. You can gaze over the beauty of this place for hours and still won’t get enough. Flower beds, cascades, waterfalls, and everything that Nature has ever made excel here.
