A police officer who was assigned to protect polio workers was shot dead in Quetta city of Balochistan on Friday.

Islamabad: Two Pakistani policemen, who were protecting  polio vaccination workers in Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan, were shot dead by unknown gunmen on Wednesday, media reports said.
