Toronto/IBNS: Toronto's Mayor John Tory has announced the third dose vaccination drive against COVID-19 to facilitate the maximum possible people to get inoculated.

British Columbia/IBNS: After seeing a surge in the number of Covid patients from Ontario and Quebec after the holidays, Dr. Annie Gareau,  an emergency physician at Whistler Health Care Centre told Radio-Canada about her concern and called on the B.C. government to contain travel from other provinces.

Ontario/IBNS: Ontario is reporting a rapid surge of new single-day record of 3,519 COVID-19 cases and 89 deaths, which has pushed the seven-day average of new daily cases to a new high of 3,141, with a test positivity rate of 6.1 percent, Ontario's health officials said.
