Amritsar (Punjab), Jan 16 (ANI): Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu said that he wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release a special package of Rs 100 crore for Jallianwalla Bagh National Monument. Sidhu requested Prime Minister Modi to intervene for modern amenities, landscaping, world-class light and sound system and an ambience that gives a world-class impression to this supreme place of sacrifice. Punjab government is set to observe the 100th year of the 1919 massacre by the British Raj next year.
