Rajasthan is mostly known for its royal history which dates back to as early as 7th century. The state is named as the princely state because many royal dynasties ruled over here and even today, a few of these royal families are still living in the state. The royal state does have a lot of monuments, forts, palaces, lakes which makes it evident that Rajasthan had a close relationship with many kings and queens.
