Anik Dutta's much-awaited film 'Aparajito' premiered in Kolkata

The star-studded premiere of Anik Dutta's much-awaited film 'Aparajito' was held in Kolkata on Friday (May 13, 2022).  Besides the cast comprising Jeetu Kamal, Saayoni Ghosh, Anusha Vishwanathan,Mahul Brahma and Anashua Majumdar, renowned filmmaker Aparna Sen was present among others. Filmmaker  Srijit Mukherji was present with his wife Rafiath Rashid Mithila. The film attempts to capture legendary filmmaker late Satyajit Ray's struggle to make his first film Pather Panchali, which later turned out to be a cult movie.
