Srinagar:  The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar has switched to online mode of education for all undergraduate, post graduate students besides the scholars enrolled in the institute.

Jammu and Kashmir: NIT Srinagar winds up physical classes over COVID-19 concerns

Srinagar: The authorities at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar have decided to discontinue holding physical classes of the students over COVID-19 concerns. The Director NIT Srinagar, Prof. (Dr) Rakesh Sehgal while talking to Greater Kashmir said they have decided to discontinue offline classes of first year and second year students after seven positive cases were reported from the institute within this week.

 Srinagar: NIT Srinagar will now act as the implementing agency for the scheme “design expertise to Manufacturing MSME sector” of M/o MSME as an MoU has already been signed between M/o MSME and NIT Srinagar and signed by Additional Secretary (Development Commissioner) MSME on behalf of M/o MSME and Director NIT Srinagar on behalf of NIT Srinagar.
