World Tiger Day: Indian tourists must travel responsibly, avoid selfies with tigers, urges animal welfare body

New Delhi/IBNS: On the occasion of World Tiger Day, international animal welfare organisation, World Animal Protection is urging Indian tourists to travel responsibly and avoid visiting venues offering tiger shows and tiger selfies.

New Delhi, July 29 (IBNS): On the occasion of Global Tiger Day on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the results of the fourth cycle of All India Tiger Estimation - 2018, at Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi where the data showed that the country now is home to 2967 tigers.
