New Zealand bans plastic produce bags from July 1

Wellington: New Zealand's major supermarkets have been preparing for the second phase of the national plastics ban starting from Saturday, which will see the phase-out of more single-use plastics.

India to impose complete ban on single-use plastic from July 1

New Delhi: India will ban the manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of identified single-use plastic items, which have low utility and high littering potential, all across the country from July 1, 2022.
