'You've decided it's my last...': MS Dhoni keeps fans guessing about his IPL retirement

India's cricket icon and Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni kept his fans guessing about his retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a much open-ended statement on Wednesday.

At the toss in the Lucknow Super Giants-Chennai Super Kings match, Danny Morrison asked Dhoni, "Clearly this wonderful swansong tour, your last. How are you enjoying it?"

In reply, the World Cup winning skipper said, "You have decided it's my last (smiles)."

When Morrison announced that Dhoni is set to play the next year's IPL as well, the cricket legend remained tight-lipped but with a smile on his face.

Fans speculated about Dhoni's retirement from IPL after he mentioned that he was playing the last phase of his career.

Even when the entire Eden Gardens turned yellow in support of Dhoni snubbing home team Kolkata Knight Riders, Dhoni had thanked his fans for giving him a "farewell" triggering speculation of his retirement.

Meanwhile, the Chennai-Lucknow match was washed out due to rains on Wednesday.

Both the teams were awarded one point each.
