William Porterfield top leads Ireland in WC

Dublin, Jan 5 (IBNS): William Porterfield will be captain of the 15 member Ireland team which will feature in th World Cup next month.

The World Cup will be hosted by Australia New Zealand this year.

William Porterfield, O’Brien brothers, Ed Joyce, and John Mooney will be participating in their third World Cup.

“It’s fantastic to be leading Ireland in another global tournament,” 30 year-old Porterfield was quoted as saying by cricketireland.ie.
