Kolkata, June 7 (IBNS) Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Sunday said sharing his experience with the young players will be a key task he will play in the Indian team's dressing room.

“My role as a senior player is to share my experience with the youngsters. Hopefully, I can learn a couple of things from them too,” Singh said while addressing a press conference here.

Speaking on his comeback in the Indian team for the Test match against Bangladesh, Singh said: "I am thankful to my seniors for the encouragement. I had to work hard to make this comeback. I kept on playing cricket and most importantly kept myself fit and motivated.”

The spinner said he wants to win matches for India.

He said, “My motive is to win game for India and it has always been so.”

Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara thanked the Yorkshire management for providing him a chance to play with them.

He said, “When you play for the Indian team you have to play with a lot of responsibilities. Every member has to contribute in the games.”

Pujara said he is ready to take on the Bangladesh cricket team and has worked hard for it.

“I have worked and improved on my concentration," the cricketer said.

Indian team will leave for Bangladesh on Monday.
