WI beat SA in record T20 run chase

Johannesburg, Jan 11 (IBNS): In a record run chase, West Indies defeated South Africa by four wickets in a T20 International clash here on Sunday.

Chasing South Africa's massive 231 for seven, West Indies reached 236 runs by losing six wickets with four balls to spare.

Chris Gayle smashed 41-ball 90 while Marlon Samuels hammered 60 to help West Indies chase down the total.

At the end it was Darren Sammy's unbeaten 20 which helped the side reach the target.

Earlier, riding onFaf du Plessis' 119, South Africa scored 231 for seven in their 20 overs.

Jason Holder and Dwayne Bravo picked up two wickets each int he match for West Indies.
