West Bengal State Taekondo Championship begis at SAI Eastern Centre tomorrow

Kolkata, June 26 (IBNS) The two-day 25th State Taekwondo Championship 2015 and 5th StatePoomsae Taekwondo Championship 2015 will be held at Indoor Training Centre, SAI, SaltLake on June 27 and 28 next.

The Bouts will be going on, whole day on 27  &  28  June while  presentation of medals will be done alongside.

The Champion’s Trophy will be handed over at 6.30 pm on 28 th June.

The chmpionship this time assumed a bigger interest as the medal winners here  will be representing West Bengal in the forthcoming NationalChampionships and thereafter, if selected, in the iInternational tournaments.

There will  be approximately 300 contestants from  15 Districts  of West Bengal and 50 Officials from Bengal and the neighboring states, to ensure a free and fairChampionship.

It may be mentioned that  Bengal Taekwondo Association is the only BOA, affiliated Taekwondo body in West Bengal.
