Washington Sundar runs out of partners scoring 96, India take 160-run lead against England

Ahmedabad/IBNS: India's young all-round performer Washington Sundar ran out of partners scoring 96 as India took a lead of 160 runs in the first innings of fourth Test against England at Narendra Modi Stadium here Saturday.

India were bowled out for 365 by the English brigade.

Rishabh Pant and Sundar were the duo which rescued India from a mini collapse Friday.

While Sundar remained unbeaten at 101, Pant scored 101 off 118.

Rohit Sharma had scored 49 and Axar Patel slammed 43 until he was ran out.

Ben Stokes picked 4/89 for England.

England had scored 205 in the first innings.
