Virat Kohli guides India to six wickets victory against Pakistan

Kolkata, Mar 19 (IBNS): Riding on Virat Kohli's unbeaten 55 runs chivalrous innings, India defeated Pakistan in an ICC World T20 group stage match by six wickets here on Saturday.

In the iconic Eden Gardens, Pakistan posted 118 for five while India scored the winning score of 119 runs by losing four wickets.

Kohli hammered 55 runs off 37 balls, hitting seven boundaries and a six, and skipper MS Dhoni remained unbeaten at 13 to guide India to victory.

Yuvraj Singh scored 24 runs.

Mohammad Sami picked up two wickets for Pakistan.
