Bengaluru/IBNS: Australian batter Tim David's unbeaten 50 helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru to manage 95-9 in 14 overs after rain forced reduction of six overs for each side in a mouth-watering clash of Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday.

David, who slammed 5 fours and 3 sixes, completed his half-century off 26 balls after Harpreet Brar (2/25) offered a free-hit courtesy his no-ball in the ultimate delivery.

Winning the toss and putting RCB to bat first after hours of rain in the evening, PBKS bowlers triumphed over the hosts dismissing key batters including Phil Salt and Virat Kohli.

David's three massive sixes in the final over helped RCB to move close to the 100-mark after an ugly score of 63-9 in 11.5 overs when Yash Dayal was sent back to the hut.
